Dr I Ibohalbi condoled

IMPHAL, May 22
Many extended condolence at the sudden and untimely demise of former MLA Dr I Ibohalbi on May 20.
L Radhakishore Singh, chairman, Manipur Pollution Control Board, condoled Dr I Ibohalbi Singh in a condolence message issued today and said Dr I Ibohalbi Singh had dedicated his life for the case of the upliftment of the society during the tenure of his leadership and as a representative of 25- Oinam Assembly Constituency from where he was elected two times from 2007-2016.
Apart from being a politician, he had served as a senior medical officer and retired as Deputy Director, Manipur AIDS Control Society and also contributed a lot in terms of financial assistance to local clubs, NGOs and CSOs for their activities relating to healthcare, social upliftment etc, added the message.
Indian Medical Association, Manipur State Branch also condoled the demise of Dr I Ibohalbi who is also a member of IMA.
A two minute silence was observed by members of IMA for the departed soul to rest in peace, said a press release by IMA. He also played a major role in passing 'The Manipur Medicare Service Personal and Medicare Service Institutions (Prevention of Violence and Damage to Property) Bill, 2015' at Manipur Legislative Assembly.
Leimaram Shanti Bazar Nupi Lup also condoled the demise of Dr Ibohalbi and a condolence meeting was held and floral tributes were paid to his portrait.
