MCPCR for early vaccination

IMPHAL, May 21 : The Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MCPCR) expressed concern over the surging rate of COVID-19 in the State and especially in children due to transmission of the virus from adults.
It is thus deemed necessary for all working in close proximity with children viz- staff/ officials/members of various institutions under Child Protection Services (CPS) scheme, school/van drivers, parents/guardians, school authorities, staff (teaching and non teaching), to get vaccinated at the earliest, said MCPCR chairman in a press release.
The MCPCR chairman also drew the attention of the Directorate of Health Director to make provisions for COVID-19 vaccination.
