Transfer and posting

IMPHAL, May 17 : The State Government has ordered the transfer and posting of 8 IAS officers and 6 MCS officers with immediate effect.
According to a notice issued by Deputy Secretary Ph Bhavananda Sharma, Dr Rajesh Kumar has been posted as Chief Secretary (Finance/Home/DP/IT Cabinet) & Chief Vigilance Commissioner while Paulunthang Vaiphei has been given the post of Additional Chief Secretary (Transport/Works).
Vumlunmang Vualnam is now the Principal Secretary (Health & Family Welfare/GAD/ Horti & SC) & Member Secretary (EBADA & BRDVB) while N Geoffrey has been appointed as Secretary to Chief Minister & Secretary (MA/OBC & SC/Social Welfare) and Special Secretary (Cabinet/DP) and CEO/MIDA in addition.
On the other hand, B John Thangtinkhuma has been  appointed as Secretary (Labour & Employment) & Special Secretary  (FD/IT) & Commissioner (Excise);  Th Chitra Devi as Special Secretary (Election) and Director (Language, Planning and Implementation) in addition; Sharath Chandra Arroju as Joint Secretary (Tourism/Education S), Mission Director, Manipur Society for Skill Development (MSSD) and Staff Officer to Chief Secretary in addition and Mamoni Doley as SDO/Bishnupur & BDO/Bishnupur in addition.
The 6 MCS officers who have been given new posts are M Gojendro Singh (Deputy Secretary, Agriculture);  AS Elias (Deputy Secretary, Co-operation); Hanjabam Bobby Sharma (ADC, Bishnupur); Waikhom Phajatombi (Additional Director, IPR); Keisham Jadumani Singh (ADC, Moreh) and A Rohinikumar (Deputy Director, Tourism).
