UPAAK extends gratitude

IMPHAL, May 16: United Progressive Association Andro Kendra (UPAAK) extended gratitude to concern authorities for distributing the February rice ration under NFSA.
Md Phakaruddin, president, UPAAK, said UPAAK had complained to concern authority and also called for strong agitation if the February ration under NFSA was not distributed in media platforms. Imphal East DC and DSO took cognizance of the issue and the rice for the month of February has been distributed to the beneficiaries of Andro AC, he added.
UPAAK will always stand for the welfare of the people of Andro AC and will take initiative in work to bring development in the region, he added.
Md Phakaruddin added that even though the Government has taken up various welfare and development schemes, a handful of people in Andro AC had been keeping the people in dark of such schemes for their own personal gains, this can no longer continue. UPAAK will work to ensure that the people are aware of any schemes and the benefits are reaching the beneficiaries.
He also appealed all the local organisation, clubs, Meira Paibis and people of Andro AC to extend support to UPAAK in its venture to bring about a change in the constituency.
