International Nurses Day observed

IMPHAL, May 12: International Nurses Day 2021 was observed at the mini studio of Celin Digital in a low key manner adhering to Covid SOPs today.
This year International Nurses Day is celebrated under the theme - 'Nurses: A Voice to Lead-A vision for future healthcare'.
Today's event was graced by National Awardee Phanjoubam Lanajit Singh and Ksh James Singh, field publicity officer of Celin Digital as the presidium members, said a statement of Celin Digital.
Speaking as the chief guest, Phanjoubam Lanajit spoke about the history and significance of International Nurses Day which is observed on May 12 every year to honour the selfless contributions of nurses towards the society.
He maintained that nurses have been serving the society earnestly and lauded their contributions especially during this difficult time of COVID-19 pandemic.
