Body found

IMPHAL, May 9: A decomposed body of a male, aged 45-50, was found in the forest of Makhan village, Kangpokpi by some local youths on May 6, said G-Saparmeina police today.
The body was found by the youth while they were collecting wild vegetables from the forest. The deceased person was not wearing any clothes other than a blue colour elastic stripes  of underwear. Giving description, the police said the person appears to be non-Manipuri and has grey hair, height about 5.6 to 5.11 feet and thin built.
The body was retrieved and postmortem has been conducted at RIMS Hospital, Imphal. If the body is not claimed by anyone within 72 hours, the body will be disposed of as per law, said the police.
