LKKL launches official website

IMPHAL, Apr 25 : The Leihou Khunai Kanba Lup (LKKL) has launched its official website (https:/lkkl158812.wiksik.com), today.
At the website launching function which was held at  Kwakeithel, a song 'Loktak', written by IB Mangang and sung by Thongram Luxmi and a souvenir christened as 'Loktak project ki tongjaba  amasung mangjaba" were also released.
Speaking as the chief guest of the function, Editor of The Sangai Express (Manipuri edition), Khogendra Khomdram who is also the president of Editors Guild Manipur (EGM), urged the people of Manipur to extend their hands in saving Loktak Lake from extinction.
He said that preserving Loktak is of utmost importance to preserve the biodiversity and habitat of the area.
Khogendra also assured that he would provide all possible help in preserving the biggest fresh waterbody in the north-eastern region.
The programme was also attended by LKKL president, Puyam Joy social worker Preshyojit Sanglakpam  and general secretary of Iramdam Kanba Apunba Lup (IKAL), W Luwangleima among others.
