Family demands justice

IMPHAL, Mar 9: Late Laiphrakpam (o) Julyhring had said that she was victimised by her husband, L Hemarjit and his families before her death.
JS Ruwngkhel Anal, father of L Julyhring said this at a press conference held today at Manipur Press Club and said that the death of his daughter does not seems like suicide as her body was found covered with bruise marks.
He demanded justice for her and punishment for the people involved in her death.
Ruwngkhel also said a case has also been filed in the concerned Police Station and Manipur State Women's Commission regarding the incident and added that if justice is not served, then they are prepared for strong protest with the help of CSOs.
Anal students' associations and women association participating in the press conference also condemned the incident.
