IMPHAL, Mar 7 : The All Manipur Students Union (AMSU) has urged the State Government and authority concerned to bring all those involved in 'killing' RK Khesper to book before people resort to agitation.
Briefing journalists at its headquarters at Dhana-manjuri University today, AMSU vice-president Lai-shram Athouba said that the teenage boy from Kakwa Naorem Leikai Sofa Leirak was hit by a bullet fired over an alleged scuffle between two families.
RK Khesper was a student of Johnstone Higher Secondary School.
Athouba continued that the incident was truly unfortunate.
He also demanded the authority to cancel the gun license of the shooter.
If the Government grants bail to the culprit (s) on any condition, then AMSU will not remain a silent spectator, he added.
Athouba also urged the Home Department to review the mode of issuing of gun licenses to avoid misuse of firearms.
