Green Manipur awareness programme organised at Moreh, Thoubal

IMPHAL , Mar 6: A one day awareness programme on "Chief Minister's Green Manipur Mission" was organised by the Tengnoupal Forest Division at Meetei Council Moreh hall yesterday.
The programme was attended by Mahamuda Begum, (MFS) Deputy Conservator of Forest, Tengnoupal Forest Division; M Thoiba, president Meetei Council Moreh; Mutum Naba  Singh, Walnut Development Officer Horticulture Tengnoupal district; Indramani Singh, Block Technology Manager Agriculture Tengnoupal district; Ngangom Nandabir Singh, RFO Moreh and Khoirom  Sanaremba Singh, RFO Machi as presidium members.
Addressing the programme, Mahamuda Begum stated that the Green Manipur mission was launched by the Chief Minister N Biren Singh in June 2019 at Kangpokpi district with the objective to develop and protect forests in each and every village of the State and make Manipur a Green State.
Similarly, Thoubal Forest Division also organised an awareness programme on Chief Minister's Green Manipur Mission at the Election Counting Hall in Mini Complex Thoubal.
The awareness programme was attended by Divisional Forest Officer Thoubal, Th Lokendro Singh; Deputy Ranger Thoubal, L Dhananjoy Singh; Adhyaksha, Hasina Begum; ADM Thoubal, L Radhakanta and Chief Minister's Green Mission Manipur, Brand Ambassador, Victoria Elangbam as presidium members.
