No new case reported

IMPHAL, Mar 15 : For the first time in months, Manipur recorded zero fresh Covid infection.
There have been no new Covid cases in the last 24 hours, said the Government COVID-19 Common Control Room.
As such, the number of total Covid positive cases remains at 29,879 including 25,879 civilians and 3,434 Central security personnel.
With two people recovering from the disease in the last 24 hours, while under home isolation, the total number of recovered cases has reached 28,916 including 25,487 civilians and 3,429 Central security personnel. The recovery rate stands at 98.64 percent.
The number of active cases has been reduced to 24, which include 23 civilians and one Central security personnel.
With no death due to Covid recorded, the death toll remains at 373.
Meanwhile, the total number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 remains at 76,055, said the Government report issued by Additional Director, Health, Dr Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang.
