IMPHAL, Mar 14 : Purvottar Janajati Shiksha Samiti, under the aegis of Vidya Bharti Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Sansthan, New Delhi, has conferred Krishna Chandra Gandhi Memorial Award on Diki Doma Bhutia.
The award is given annually in the field of education.
Manipur Legislative Assembly Speaker Y Khemchand presented the award to Diki Doma Bhutia at RIMS Jubilee Hall today.
A retired teacher, Diki Doma Bhutia is general secretary of Kalyan Ashram, Manipur.
Education Minister S Rajen also attended the award ceremony.
