‘Mysterious’ deaths

IMPHAL, Feb 4: A married woman, 20,  from Yairipok Top Chingtha died “on her way to hospital” today.
The woman identified as Moirangthem ongbi Chaoba, wife of M Jenat was rushed to the hospital early morning after she allegedly failed to respond when she was called at around 3.30 am. She died on the way to hospital, said sources.
However, her paternal family at Nongpok Sanjenbam has alleged that her death was suspicious  and as such a complaint has been filed with the police.
Following the complaint, the police have deposited the body at JNIMS for postmortem.
In another incident, a 14 year-old girl was found dead at her residence at  Kakching Khunou, under Kakching district. She was found hanging in her room at around 5 in the morning today.
