'Establish film corporation'

IMPHAL, Feb 23 : Manipur Film Journalists and Critics Association (MFJCA) president Manindra Konsam has urged the State Government and authority concerned to establish a film corporation in the State for promoting the Manipuri film industry.
Speaking to media persons at Friends Talkies, Manindra K hailed the State Government and the Opposition party for discussing the future of the Manipur film industry on the last day of the Assembly session.
He urged the State Government to let DIPR handle the affair of the Manipur film industry again as communicating with the Art and Culture Department is difficult.
All Manipur Film Producers Association president, MK Jeet;  United Cine Exhibitors Association president Laishram Sanatomba, Action Committee for Manipur Film Industry convenor Salam Ranjan took part in the press meet.
