Awareness programme held

KAKCHING, Feb 10: A one day awareness programme on "The Importance of Custom Cleared Import of Forest Produces" was jointly organised by Tengnoupal Forest Division and Nature Learning Centre, Forest Department, Manipur, under the National Mission on Himalayan Studies (NMHS) Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India at Tengnoupal DC office complex, today.
The programme was attended by Deputy Commissioner Tengnoupal, Mayanglambam Rajkumar; SP Tengnoupal, Th Bikramjit; Superintendent, Land Customs Station Moreh, Bijoy Basumatary; 20 Assam Rifles, Major Nishant Sarda; Major, 43 Assam Rifles; DFO Tengnoupal, Forest Division, Leishangthem Jeeceelee, as presidium members.
The programme was also attended by personnel of 43 Assam Rifles, 20 Assam Rifles, shop owners and village chiefs.
