IMPHAL, Dec 9 (DIPR) : Imphal has been included among the 75 cities selected by Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) for organizing Walkathon and Eat Right Mela under Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence.
And to celebrate Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is proposing to take up activities, events and projects to commemorate 75 years of Independence wherein people from all walks of life can join to celebrate Freedom of choice of foods to enable all citizens to eat right.
The Walkathon and Eat Right Mela will be conducted from 18-19 December, 2021 at the Medical Directorate, Lamphel and City Convention, Palace Compound, Imphal.
As a part of the celebration, painting competitions will be held for students studying in Class VI to VIII and details regarding the said competition can be had from the Medical Directorate, Lamphel.
