AYUSH health camp held

IMPHAL, Dec 9: A free AYUSH health camp was held yesterday at Keikol Awang Leikai jointly organized by Imagi Sintha Chaokhat Lup and 50 bedded AYUSH Hospital, Lamphel.
The free medical camp was attended by 3 doctors, 2 interns and 8 other staff.
Speaking at the programme, S Tondan, office coordinator, AYUSH Department, said the camp was being organized to identify any health problems amongst the people of the area. The camp also provided facilities for blood tests to all the participants, especially aged people, women and children of the locality, he added. The camp was also attended by Dr Vishwanath Sharma, superintendent, 50 Bedded AYUSH Hospital, Lamphel and Kshetrimayum Nelson, president Ima Sintha Chaokhat Lup. More than 200 people were inspected by the doctors at the health camp.
