KYKL denies any link

KYKL has refuted the claims made by the police that Yumkhaibam Bimol is an overground worker of the outfit.
A Yaiphaba, publicity and research secretary KYKL, said this in a statement issued today and added that some print and electronic media had published reports that Yumkhaibam Bimol, who was arrested by a team of Imphal West district commando from Lilong Arapti Maning Leikai as an overground worker of KYKL.
The outfit has no connection whatsoever with Yumkhaibam Bimol, neither does the party have any knowledge of who he is, added A Yaiphaba in the statement.
A Yaiphaba added in the statement that the daughter of Y Bimol had said at a press conference held yesterday that her father was pick-up by the police for speaking in favour of Th Brinda, intending candidate from Yaiskul Assembly Constituency at a 'Election Meeting'. In this regard, KYKL clairified that the outfit has never participated in the electoral politics.
Moreover the outfit also clarified that KYKL does not believed in the electoral system of India and it has no connection with Th Brinda contesting election from Yaiskul AC.
