AMESTA appeals

IMPHAL, Dec 8: The All Manipur Elementary School Teacher Association (AMESTA) has demanded appointment of M Premchand as ZEO of Imphal East Zone II in place of Laishram Mohinikumar.
S Sirajuddin, general secretary, AMESTA Zone II said this at a press conference held at Manipur Press Club today and added that M Premchand was appointed as ZEO Imphal East Zone II as per a new transfer order of the Government, but the former ZEO Laishram Mohinikumar continues to be in the office and has not vacated the office yet. This, presence of two ZEO at the same office, has caused a lot of problem to the teachers and staff of the office, he added.
In view of all this, AMESTA appealed the concerned authority to look into the matter and solved the issue at the earliest.
