Remanded to police custody

IMPHAL, Dec 6: The Chief Judicial Magistrate Imphal West remanded two non locals to police custody on charges of forgery and for possessing fake Aadhar card.
The accused persons Janna Tara (18 yrs) d/o Hussain Ahmad of Ukiar Kutufalong Hakimfara Bangladesh and Zakir Hussain Sekh (26 yrs) s/o Faiyaz Sekh of Bidhanagarh Kolkata were produced before the Court by a team of Singjamei Police Station along with the prayer for seven days police custody remand. It may be noted that the accused persons were detained at Imphal International Airport yesterday while conducting verification of the passengers as they were unable to disclose proper details.
The Court after hearing the submission of the IO, remanded both of them into five days police custody till December 10.
