The Cultural Workers and Activists Forum (CWAF) Manipur has appealed to the Chief Minister N Biren Singh who is also the Minister for Culture for early completion of the long awaited office cum auditorium of the Manipur State Kala Akademi (MSKA) at the Cultural complex, Palace compound.
The same office cum auditorium of the State Kala Akademi was kept unfunctional for the past many years thereby creating many problems  to the activities of the Akademi as well as to the artist community of the State, said a statement by CWAF.
The Akademi has been running for the past many years without a full time regular Secretary hence the Forum has appealed the authority concerned to declare the interview result and appoint a regular Secretary at the earliest for smooth functioning of the Akademi.
Further the statement informed that the Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy (JNMDA) which is an important national academy under Sangeet Natak Academy is also running without a full time Director.
