AMBBA fetes P Doungel on becoming new DGP

IMPHAL, Dec 24: The All Manipur Body Builders' Association (AMBBA) has today accorded P Doungel a warm reception on being appointed as the new DGP of the State recently.
The reception programme held at the conference hall of Hotel Classic at North AOC, was attended by Dr Th Dhabali,  chairman and managing director of Babina Group and N Ratan Singh, president of All Manipur Body Builders' Association as presidium members.
During the function, the association lauded and greeted new DGP P Doungel who was crowned Mr India in 2014 for his achievements and the new responsibility as Manipur's DGP.
His contributions in encouraging and promoting body building in the State was also highlighted during the event.
Expressing gratefulness for the heartwarming reception, P Doungel acknowledged that he was able to achieve thanks to God's grace and the support and the prayer by all in the body building fraternity.
Dr Th Dhabali, during the programme, also sung praises of the police officer.
While saying that Doungel represents a notable family and a very modest person himself, said Th Dhabali who extended best wishes to the police officer to achieve more in his future endeavors.
