188th birth anniversary of Paona Brajabashi celebrated at Tripura

AGARTALA, Dec 21: The 188th birth anniversary of Paona Brajabashi was celebrated at Gournagar in Khowai district of Tripura today.
The birth anniversary observation organised by Manipuri Literary and Cultural Forum, Tripura was attended by numerous people who paid floral tribute to the statue of Paona Brajabashi at Paona Brajabashi Park in Gournagar.
N Rajarshri and Khumanthem Chanu Laxmi presented Khongjom Parva as a part of the birth anniversary celebration.
The programme was attended by N Bir Singha, president Manipuri Literary and Cultural Forum; N Brikram Datta, pradhan Gournagar GP; N Binota, president, Meira Paibi Khowai and well known personalities like Nongrakpam Panchababu Datta and N Amulya.
Similar programme was also organised at Abhoynagar in Agartala organised by Puthiba Welfare and Cultural Society and Paona Brajabashi Foundation.
