People's Progressive Council condemns

The People's Progressive Council, Manipur West (PPC) has condemned the act of threatening BJP intending candidate Gaidon Kamei by leaving a live round at the gate of his residence at Namdunlong Stadium road on December 16.
In a statement issued today, PPC demanded a clarification from the people who left the live round to threaten Gaidon Kamei, who has been at the forefront in various public issues and is preparing to contest the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election from Nungba AC.
PPC alleged that some people who had won elections through threat and coercion are afraid that their tactics might not work this time and hence has been trying to deter Gaidon Kamei from contesting the election.
A complaint has been filed at the Imphal Police Station regarding the incident of December 16.
