Cleanliness drive conducted

THOUBAL, Dec 19: BJP Wangkhem Mandal organised a cleanliness drive at Yairpok Keithel today.
The cleanliness drive will be conducted every sunday in order to aid in keeping the public places clean.
Speaking at the event, L Sunilkumar, BJP Wangkhem Mandal president, said the drive was started in cohesion with the Swachh Bharat Mission launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The cleanliness drive will be held at Gwarok Mahadev on next sunday, he added.
The drive was also attended by former minister Prof Dr Nimaichand Luwang and BJP Thoubal district president Kumarjit Yumnam.
