State volleyball teams for Junior Nationals announced

IMPHAL, Dec 14
The All Manipur Volleyball Association has named boys and girls who will be representing Manipur in the 47th Junior National Volleyball Championship 2021-22 which will be held from December 25 to 30 at Aurobinda Stadium, Bardhaman, West Bengal.
The girls who were shortlisted in the State team as per an order of the selection committee of the All Manipur Volleyball Association are K Reishimla of KYLSC, Sosophy of SSC, Javeinai Anna of SSC, Nengneithem of KYLSC, PR Rozi of PYC, Debora Jajo of UNT, K Lanmeiching of PYC, K Rebika of PYC, N Brinda Devi of PYC, Jarryhall of UNT, A Lophro of SSC and Leiyarin Ashipo of UNT.
Thingthing Heishing of UNT was also named as reserve player as per the order.
Meanwhile the players who have made it to the junior boys' squad are M Dinku of NYVA, N Pradip of HYDO, N Omesh of NYVA, Johnson Chabungbam of UNT, Herojit of NYVA,  Yairuichan Raigan of TRVSC, MM Anisur of LSA, Y Arbin of KYLSC, Malemkaiba Huiningsubam of USWC, Kh Nelson of KYLSC, M Vikash Singh of NYVA and Sh Vicky of HYDO.
Mireithem Keisingh of UNT, W Nganba of SDC, L Hemba Singh of KYLSC and N Rajiv of NYVA were named as reserve players.
The teams will leave Imphal for the tournament venue on December 22, the order said.
