AMUCO wishes

IMPHAL, Nov 3 : The All Manipur United Club Organisation (AMUCO) has wished the people of the State, especially the womenfolk for the upcoming festival of Ningol Chakkouba and appealed the public not to engage in a materialistic race.
A press statement, signed by Laishram Krishnachandra, secretary publicity AMUCO, said Ningol Chakkouba is one of the largest festivals of the State and appealed the public not to engage in gambling activities (Lagao) and indulge in alcohol or any other intoxicants during the festival.
AMUCO also warned the shopkeepers against charging more than the actual price of the products. AMUCO also appealed the public to use locally sourced and produced products during the festival as it will save a lot of money and help in uplifting the economy of the State and it will also help in preserving the true nature of the festival.
