All Tribal Educated Unemployed Youths Union Manipur urges

IMPHAL, Nov 30
The All Tribal Educated Unemployed Youths Union Manipur has complained to the Chief Minister against the alleged systematic destruction of Tribal Research Institute (TRI), Manipur by the State Government.
In a letter written to the Chief Minister, the Union alleged that the State Government has made fraudulent recruitment of unqualified persons as officers in TRI, Manipur contrary to the wishes and efforts of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to transform TRIs into a Centre of Excellence for Tribal Research in India.
The union also demanded the immediate termination of illegally appointed Joint Director of TRI, Manipur (Head of Department) and who as contractual staff cannot perform normal duty of HOD.
Hence the Union requested to appoint an eligible and qualified person as the Joint Director of TRI, Manipur as per the existing RR and established norms.
