SENAPATI, Nov 27: As observed across the country, Constitution Day was also celebrated at Don Bosco College (Autonomous), Maram on Friday to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India.
It was organised by Department of Political Science, Don Bosco College (Autonomous), Maram.
During the programme, students, teachers and special invitees read the Preamble of the Indian Constitution.
Rev Fr Shiland, vice principal and Controller of Examination of DBC Maram highlighted the history, ideology and importance of the Constitution.
Dr Sr Bindhu Jose (Hod), Assistant Professors Khangchiubi Ngaomei, Kabi Felix Sh and Dr Hawaibam Herojit Singh also spoke on the occasion.
The programme concluded with the singing of the National Anthem by the participants.
