World Meetei Council appeals

IMPHAL, Nov 26
The World Meetei Council (WMC) has appealed the people of the State to bear for one more day and support the general strike.
In a statement issued WMC also informed that the protest demanding inclusion of Meetei/Meitei will be held at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on November 28 and at Silchar on November 30.
WMC also condemned the discussion programme in one of the electronic media wherein the protest was being discussed as a bandh and veered away from the actual reason behind the said protest.
