IMFL, DIC liquor seized

IMPHAL, Nov 23: A team of Narcotic Cell Imphal West has seized 106.08 litres of IMFL (Indian Made Foreign Liquor) and 18.5 litres of DIC liquor today from a shop named 'People Store' located at Sanakeithel road near BRTF camp.
The liquor was seized when the team under the command of OC Narcotic Cell, Imphal West under the supervision of SP IW, Dr S Ibomcha Singh conducted drive at the shop which is owned by Salam Deepak (28 yrs) s/o Salam Santosh of Thangmeiband Khomdram Selungba Leikai, said a statement by the Police.
The team also arrested the shop owner and two other persons namely Rolen Golmei (19 yrs) of Nambol Leimapokpam and Tiganglung Reamei (19 yrs) of Keithelmanbi.
The arrested persons along with the seized liquor will be handed over to the Excise Department for further actions, added the statement.
