Vigilance Awareness Week concludes

The valedictory function of Vigilance Awareness Week was held at ICAR, Manipur Centre today under the theme of "Independent India @75: Reliance with Integrity".
A press release issued today by ICAR, Manipur Centre stated that all of the staff adopted the integrity pledge to uphold the highest standards of honesty and integrity during the programme.
Speaking at the occasion, Dr I Meghachandra, Joint Director  ICAR Manipur Centre, emphasized upon promoting accountability and curbing corruption in all spheres of life and workplace. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks from scientist, Dr T Basanta Singh.
It may be mentioned that in order to raise awareness on Vigilance, ICAR has undertaken various employee engagement programs like fixing of banners and posters to educate both external and internal stakeholders on the significance of the Vigilance Awareness Week.
Vigilance Awareness Week was also observed across several locations of ICAR-KVKs (5) in the State, the statement added.
Also  National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Loktak Power Station observed 'Vigilance awareness week 2021' from October 26 onwards on the theme, 'Independent India @ 75: Self-reliance with integrity' which concluded today.
