'Punshigi Lamai Amada' released

IMPHAL, Oct 9: A short story book titled 'Punshigi Lamai Amada' which is a compilation of 7 short stories written by Tikendrajit Akoijam popularly known as YVU Tikendrajit was released today at Manipur Press Club.
The book release function was organised by SB Enterprises and Oja Bijoy Book Store, Thoubal Keithel.
The function was graced by Convenor of Manipuri Language Advisory Board, Sahitya Akademi, Nongmaithem Kirankumar, president of the Cultural Forum Manipur, Professor Huirem Behari as presidium members. Faculty member of DM University, Dr Saratchandra Long-jomba spoke about the book.
Speaking on the occasion, Tikendrajit Akoijam appealed all to strive for the development of Manipuri language and requested the youths to try their hands on writing.
