Case disposed

IMPHAL, Oct 28 : The Manipur Human Rights Commission (MHRC) has disposed of the case filed by three individuals pertaining to alleged non distribution of rice as per the requirement of NFSA and PMGKAY at Heidroipokpi Leikai, Kakching district against the Commissioner of CAF & PD and Kakching Deputy Commissioner .
According to the Kakching DC, the Fair Price Shop agents distributed food grains as per provision of NFSA,said MHRC in a statement.
Saying that the Additional Deputy Commissioner and District Supply Officer   assured of distributing the rice after checking the genuineness of eligible beneficiaries who had not received foodgrain under NFSA and PMGKAY on September 13 last, MHRC added that the Kakching DSO submitted the compliance report of the distribution of rice today ( October 29).
