CPI welcomes

IMPHAL, Oct 27 :The Manipur State Council, Communist Party of India (MSC CPI) has welcomed the decision of the Supreme Court to probe the  Pegasus allegations.
In a statement issued today, MSC CPI said the issue of Pegasus spyware which was used to snoop mobile phones of various opposition leaders, journalists etc had caused a huge uproar in the monsoon session of the Parliament.
The Supreme Court today appointed an independent expert technical committee overseen by a former apex Court Judge, Justice RV Raveendran, to examine allegations that the Government used an Israeli spyware, Pegasus, to snoop on its own citizens.
