BGVS Manipur provides Covid relief items

SENAPATI, Oct 13: The Bharat Gyan Vigyan Samiti (BGVS) Manipur, a mass movement of community based volunteers has continued with their distribution of Covid-19 relief and response work at different villages of  Senapati district.
The Covid-19 Relief and Response Work was reportedly supported by Medico International, Frankfurt and Main, Germany. It was organised by Public Health Resource Society, New Delhi and implementation supported by BGVS, Manipur. Relief materials including rice, pulses, sugar, detergent, mustard oil, tea leaf, etc were distributed to the needy people of Senapati district including Phaibung Khullen, Phuba Khuman, Lakhamai, Khongdei Khuman, Khongdei Shimphung TNK, Poulea (Council) and Senapati village.
It may be mentioned that BGVS Manipur has been distributing relief materials to the needy families of different villages across the State.
The team had also reportedly reached out to other States including Nagaland and Mizoram with their relief during the nationwide lockdown last year.
