HC quashes

IMPHAL, Jan 22 : Acting on a petition filed by Dr P Shyamsunder Singh against the engagement of Dr K Rajo as Director of Health Services on contract basis, the High Court of Manipur has quashed the appointment of Dr Rajo on contract basis.
The High Court also directed the State Government to set aside the appointment within a period of two weeks. Incidentally Dr Shyamsunder who is next in line to be the Director is set to retire by the end of February this year.
