The reality of life

Life,an altruistic blessing!
A marvellous Gift bestowed by God,
To every man,
Where we enjoy and rejoice,
We strengthen the spirit,
To serve the purpose,
Of this priceless gift.

Yes,we all have dreams...
A passion and a hope for our own self,
A vision for our loved ones,
To be someone, someday and somewhere.
Thus lost in the realm
of self love,
Egotism and worldly Maya.

We all ventured,
in our youthful days,
For a life of glamour,
full of wealth and fame,
Apparently a fruitful life!
But we failed to realize,
The true meaning and,
Purpose of Life's journey,
Only to become aware,
As we walk farther,
Along this irreversible trail.

The reality of life -
We all are mortal !
Traversing this short journey,
Like our esteemed forebearers.
And our assigned duty is,
Just to observe, learn ,  grow and love,
As we reciprocate the beautiful gifts,
Of love, kindness, and gratitude,
To our fellow beings.
And to return to the dust we are made of,
Our original abode.
