Greenery razed

IMPHAL, Jan 12: About 3 acres of greenery at Lang-maiching/Nongmaiching in Imphal East have been reduced to ashes by a wildfire today. The wildfire started at around noon, said sources.
Manipur Fire Service rushed to the spot at around 3 pm and used water cannons to fight the fire. The fire has been put out. The fire gutted about 3 acres of greenery, said officials.
