Reception program

IMPHAL, Sep 26: Former MPCC vice-president and treasurer Sagolsem Achouba who recently joined the BJP has announced that he would support newly inducted Cabinet Minister Oinam Lukhoi in the forthcoming by-election.
S Achouba was accorded a warm reception by BJP leaders at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat yesterday.
Among others, Chief Minister N Biren, O Lukhoi and BJP Organisation Secretary (North East) Ajay Jamwal were present at the reception.
N Biren and Ajay Jamwal presented the party’s cap and scarf to S Achouba.
Speaking at the gathering, Achouba pledged that he would extend full support to O Lukhoi in the forthcoming by-election in Wangoi Assembly Constituency.
O Lukhoi said that he is confident he would win the by-election as Achouba has pledged to support him.
Notably, S Achouba has been already appointed Chairman of Manipur Handloom & Handicraft Development Corporation Limited.
