BJP Heirok Mandal decries

IMPHAL, Sep 26 : Bharatiya Janata Party Heirok Mandal has claimed that the move of Chief Minister N Biren to conduct an untimely reshuffle will only lead to the destruction of BJP State unit.
The mandal in a statement said that the induction of 5 Ministers, when the fate of former 12 Parliamentary Secretaries are hanging in balance and by-elections are nearing, is unacceptable and a move to break the State BJP from the core.
Charging that the reshuffle was 'seemingly' done on the CM's 'personal interest', the mandal also condemned the dropping of Heirok AC MLA, Th Radheshyam from the Ministry.
Such an act will obstruct the Government's plan to achieve balanced development across the rural area and defeat the CM's own initiatives of "Go to village", "Go to hill" and other flagship programmes.
The dropping of Nemcha Kipgen from the Council of Ministers is also against PM Modi's vision to encourage and empower women, it continued while adding that the induction of non-party members will only encourage party hoppers and compromise BJP's ideology.
Dropping of Th Radheshyam from the Ministry while he has been on a mission to effectively implement the New Education Policy 2020 and working hard for the welfare of the skilled workers who have returned to the State owing to COVID-19 pandemic, shows that CM is ignorant of educational values, it continued.
The mandal also went on to state that the people of Heirok and the mandal will support any decision taken up by the former Education Minister.
