AMWJU's foundation day

IMPHAL, Sep 15: The All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU) is organising its 47th foundation day tomorrow and unveiling 'journalist memorial pillar'.
On the occasion, AMWJU will remember late journalists and pay floral tributes as a mark of respect, it said in a statement today requesting the presence of the family members.
As part of the observance, journalists, who have been declared winners for writing best news stories on "One Day Media Campaign on Save Nambul" organised by the Environment and Climate Change Department, Government of Manipur and AMWJU on July 2, will also be awarded. It also appealed to journalists and representatives of the media organisations who  had participated in the campaign to attend the observance.
