Landslide halts vehicular movement

MOREH, Aug 20: Owing to landslides that were reported from certain areas of Khongkhang along Imphal Moreh road and Tengnoupal district, vehicular movements along the Highway stretch was halted for a brief period, this morning.
It is believed that the landslides might be caused by the incessant rainfall that is witnessed in the State since the last two-three days.
The section of highway stretch was opened for vehicular movement after the earth/debris was cleaned using JCBs of GR Infra Project Company Limited, which is engaged for Imphal Moreh road widening project.
