RNAL appeals

IMPHAL, Aug 19 : The Rims Nurses Association Lamphelpat (RNAL) has appealed to all concerned to immediately stop discrimination of nurses and other medical staff.
Condemning stigmati-sation and obstructions in movements of nurses during such a critical junction, RNAL has reminded that these frontline workers are discharging their duty by risking their own lives and their beloved family members.
In a statement, RNAL pointed out that discriminating these medical staff at this hour will only hinder the fight against COVID-19.
Calling for a collective fight, the association appealed to CSOs, local clubs and women bodies to help the frontline workers and ensure they are not subjected to unjust and unkind treatments in the future.
The association also drew attention of the Government to do the needful and avert such difficult situations.
