IMPHAL, Jul 29: Irengbam Momocha Singh has been declared the winner of a photography contest held on the theme 'All about nature'.
The contest was held yesterday celebrating the World Nature Conservation Day, organised by the Wildlife Institute of India, Ministry of Environment, Forest  and Climate Change and Deputy Conservator of Forest (Park and Sanctuary).
Irengbam Momocha, a member of  Wildlife Explorers Manipur from Sandankhong, Bishnupur secured the first position while Aklanta Madhav Kalita and Thuanriulung Gonmei secured second and third position respectively.
Staff and publisher of The Sangai Express, Laishram Shamungou Singh bagged the 4th place while Ayan Dutta secured 5th position.
The winners of the contest were announced during a webinar held to celebrate the World Nature Conservation Day.
Wildlife Institute of India representative, Dr Chongpi Tuboi,  Wildlife Habitat Protection Society, founder, Moirangthem Loiyangamba and others attended the webinar.
