Mandatory testing

IMPHAL, Jul 21: Officials and labourers linked to various large projects relating to railways, roadways, power, water supply and others entering the State shall undergo mandatory COVID-19 testing, said Government today.
Companies and agencies concerned may arrange for their quarantine either in a paid or separate quarantine facility with approval from the Government. They may also use the paid testing facilities available or avail free testing at VRDLs (Virus Research and Diagnostic Laboratories) of RIMS and JNIMS provided the company/agency concerned make their own arrangements for test sample collection. The State Health Department can assist in initial training and VTM (Viral Transport Medium) supplies, said the Government.
