IMPHAL, Jul 20: Foundation stone for a mega water supply project christened Manipur Water Supply Project would be laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 10.30 am of July 23.
Foundation stone for the mega project at an estimated cost Rs 3054 crore would by laid by the Prime Minister through video conference together with Union Water Resources Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and DoNER Minister Dr Jitendra Singh. In connection with the virtual foundation stone laying ceremony, a high-level meeting was held today with Chief Minister N Biren in the chair where many Ministers and officials of PHED were present.
The virtual foundation stone laying ceremony would be held at the City Convention Centre.
