Assam toll reaches 57

GUWAHATI, Jul 19 : Assam Health and Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced that the COVID-19 death toll in the State has reached 57 with 4 more deaths on Sunday (July 19).
Although the fatality has risen steadily in Assam, the national rate has started showing a dipping. The Centre has recently announced that the death rate in the nation sunk below 2.5 pc recently, which means that India has one of the lowest fatalities in the world.
