Water supply scheme

 IMPHAL, Jun 28: While distributing old age pensions to the locals of 6 (six) polling stations of Mayang Imphal Bengoon and Uchiwa Wangbal from his monthly salary, Dy Speaker K Robindro announced today that a water supply scheme costing Rs 9 (nine) crore will be set up at Mayang Imphal Bengoon and every street of the locality will be black topped.
President BJP Mayang Imphal Mandal Irom Rabi, ward no 9 Councillor Md Kayamuddin, ward no 11 Councillor Rahul Khan of Mayang Imphal Municipal Council and chairperson Manipur State Haz Committee Abdus Salam also attended the pension distribution programme.
During the programme, Robindro also appealed the people of Bengoon to earmark an area  for the proposed water supply scheme at the earliest to start construction work.
