CAF&PD Minister appeals

IMPHAL, Jun 21: CAF&PD Minister Karam Shyam has appealed all concerned to avoid disrupting developmental works in Langthabal Assembly Constituency.
Claiming that some are allegedly trying to impede works being taken up in the Constituency, the Minister said strict legal actions will be taken up against those found obstructing developmental works.
During a press meet held at Chajing Mairenkhong Community Hall today, the Minister stated that reconstruction/renovation works of all roads have been completed except for Sofa Leirak and Naorem Leikai Lairembi Leirak roads. As efforts are on to start reconstruction/renovation work for Sofa Leirak and other roads by including them in the 2021 work programme, some people are causing disturbance, he claimed, appealing people in the areas concerned not to support such disturbance.
Appealing all not to politicise the matter, he assured that construction/renovation of all roads in the Assembly Constituency will be completed by 2022.
He also informed that Canchipur water supply will be built with a budget of Rs 6 crore and added that funds for Toupokpi water supply has been released.
As an MLA of the Constituency, he is taking up all efforts to provide safe drinking water, good roads and other infrastructures, said Karam Shyam appealing all to support developmental works in the region.
